Classroom Behavior PlanIn our classes, we will be using a classroom economy. This not only helps students learn how to follow expectations, it also teaches personal financial literacy.
Students will earn money weekly by following classroom expectations and working their class job. Students will get a paycheck, pay monthly rent, learn how to keep an account register, deposit money into their "account", and purchase class coupons with their money. Some class coupons include: lunch at a different table, free time, smelly feet (no shoes for the day), and bring a furry friend to school. Classroom jobs change every 6 weeks. We have been discussing the class economy for the last two weeks, and the students are excited to get started. |
